This is an acoustic portrait of the old house I live in. Imagine: high ceilings, screaching doors, a fireplace in the kitchen... You can hear the squeaking of the old wooden floor panels, the dry sounds of the door lock closing, the bell of the toaster, and the overtones of our aged fridge in the kitchen. The outdoor perspective portrays the surrounding. In the little park on the back side, there are the voices of my quite multicultural neighbourhood, kids playing, the bells of the church next door, cars passing. I love my place and its acoustic landscape. With this small composition, I would like to portray the quiet waves of life around me, to share it with others and keep it as a memory when I move out from this house one day.
